How Solar Works

Use our state-of-the-art Solar PV Systems to go green and earn green.

Solar PV Systems use photovoltaic (PV) technology to produce electricity from a 100% clean source. Specifically, Solar modules convert sunlight into DC Power. A device known as an inverter then converts the DC power to AC power (which is the same electricity as provided by the utility grid). The power then travels from the inverter to your electric service panel, and is distributed throughout your operation.

and you earn a credit from your utility company. If your solar system produces less energy than your consumption the meter spins forward and there is a charge from the utility company. This is known as Net Metering.

with NO cash outlay, and provide Net gain for your business. If you prefer, please fill out our online form and one of our solar advisors will get back to you promptly.

Your solar energy system will pay for itself with the earnings from the sale of Solar Renewable Energy Certificates, available in states with a SREC program, (1 SREC for 1,000 kWh of electricity that is surplus) and the savings from reduced utility expense. In addition, the government is now financing a large part of the cost of the system and allowing additional tax incentives. Your company’s cash flow will be improved with the installation of a Solar PV system! Take advantage of our free solar evaluation where a solar consultant will analyze your previous year’s bills. We’ll provide you with a detailed free information package on your ROI and financing options.

work well). It is often not necessary to make any penetration through the roof itself.

What does the installation process involve?

The amount of solar power your system is able to generate depends on the quantity of panels that will fit on your facility as well as the quality of your solar panels, and the technology employed. There are three panel options available.

  • Monocrystalline: Having the highest efficiency (13% - 15%), requiring the least surface area. This option is most suitable for properties with limited roof space, and is also the longest lasting with a durability of more than 30 years.
  • Polycrystalline: Reasonably-priced and most commonly used with an efficiency of 10% to 13% and durability of more than 25 years.
  • Amorphous/thin film: Relatively low efficiency (5% - 7%), requiring a large surface area but made from flexible materials which makes them ideal for buildings with curved surfaces. This sturdy, vandal-proof system also works better in diffused light than the above two options.
